2007 yılının sonlarında Ece ve Furkan tarafından kurulan grup bir kaç eleman değişikliğinden sonra son halini aldı. Kurulduğu ilk günden itibaren beste çalışmalarına ağırlık veren grup Ankara’nın önemli sahnelerinde çeşitli organizasyonlarda sahne aldı.
İlk Ankara dışı performansına 14, Tuborg Roxy Muzik Günleriyle başlayan grup burada sahnelediği performansıyla 1.lik ve Tuborg Özel Ödülüne layık görüldü. Daha sonra Foça Rock Tatili ile şehır dışı performanslarına devam eden grup İstanbul Peyote sahnesinde de düzenli olarak performanslarına devam etmekte.
Tarz olarak punk, garage ve psychedelic öğeleri bünyesinde barındıran grup, kendilerinin uydurduğu Acid Punk terimini benimseyerek yaptığı müziğin bunu yansıttığına inanmaya başladı.
26 Mart’ta lansman gecesini düzenleyecek olan Softa’nın o günden sonra Single albümü ve klibi piyasada olacak. Vokal, elektro gitar, teramin ve tuşlu çalgıların Ece Özey’den soruldugu grupta, Elektro gitarlar ve efektleri Furkan Güleray, Bas Gitarı Cumhur Kadıoğlu, Vurmalı çalgıları Aycan Fıratlı üstlenmekte…

Starting in the University years in Ankara, Turkey , SOFTA was first formed by Ece and Furkan back in 2007, after having some group member changes finally came into their final form. They focused more on writing their own lyrics and making their original compositions, they performed on many important scenes and organizations in Ankara.
They got their first major break when they participated in the 14th Annual Tuborg Roxy Music Days competition and landing in 1st Prize award and The Special Tuborg Prize.
With the success of this they had many live performances in Istanbul, and perform on a regular basis in ‘Peyote’ which is one of the most important place in Istanbul for indie music.
Their style is a mix of Punk Garage and have some Psychedelic stuffed into their rhythm and believe the their style drastically reflects the Acid Punk genre of music.
On March 26, Softa released their first album single and video ‘UFO’ can now be found in music stores :)
With Ece Ozey on Vocals, Electro guitar, Furkan Guleray on Electro and Sound effects . Cumhur Kadioglu on Bass Guitar. Last but not least Aycan Firatli on percussion instruments. SOFTA is here to stay!
